You are invited to join us for an exciting one-day Conference on Innovation in the Nordic Marine Sector, to be held May 12th, 2009 at Radisson SAS Hotel Saga, Reykjavík, Iceland

Admittance to the conference is free of charge.

We are scheduling Nordic and international speakers with knowledge and expertise on how to enhance innovation in the marine sector and how to raise the competitiveness of the Nordic marine sector on a global market. The focus will be on sustainable use of the sea as a resource including themes like:

• Innovation systems and Nordic synergies
• Fishing gear
• Aquaculture
• Processing and distributions
• Marine biochemicals including Algae Technology

It is our goal to provide an informative and educational conference for policy makers, innovation agencies, researchers and the marine industries about innovation and the potential of the marine sector. This will be especially interesting for enterprises in fisheries, fish processing, aquaculture, marine bio prospecting and suppliers of goods and services.
